CC Designs November Review

Hello!  With all this Thanksgiving prep and Xmas planning I almost forgot to post this.  It is time for a review of CC Designs November release.

Here is my project featuring Roberto's Rascals' Cocoa Cuddles.  I made a little giftcard holder following this tutorial from SCS.  You can never have enough giftcard holders during Christmas.  The sentiment is from Christmas Verses II and I added on the holly & berry die.

Here is a close up of the image.  This was actually the second one I colored since I didn't like the way I did his hair the first time.  His hair reminded me of a hedgehog so I did it again.

Here is how it pulls out to reveal the gift card.  Sorry about the glare!  The gift card holder die and the to/from/$ stamps are from MFT.  Such a great investment if you're going to be giving away a lot of gift cards!

I have a few more things I am working on.  Just can't seem to find the time these days.  Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thanks for stoppin…

Hello!  TIme for a review of CC Designs November release.  If you're looking for some cute Christmas and winter stamps, check out CC Designs newest release HERE.
Here is my card featuring Fuzzy Boots and Snowy Wall.  I particularly like this card.  Sometimes I make something and I really like it.  Other times it's just okay.
It's an easel card and it opens up like this.  The sentiment might be hard to read but you can click on the photo to enlarge.  The sentiment is from Christmas Verses II and I heat embossed it in red.  The snowflakes and the icicle border can be found HERE and HERE.  I added some Stickles to the snowflakes, icicle, on the snowy parts of the wall and the fuzzy parts of her boots and cap.  The funny thing is that when I first made this card I forgot all about the snowflake and icicle dies.  It loo…

A Perfectly Odd Blog Hop!!

Hello!  WELCOME to a Perfectly Odd Hop!  We have partnered up with the ladies from Some Odd Girl to bring you something fun and different!

We had the pleasure of meeting some of the Odd Girls at CHA in Vegas, and a collaborative event was an absolute NO-BRAINER!  Would the Odd Girls like to try out some fun tools?  Heck yes!  Does the Perfect Paper Crafting team want to play with some cute stamps?  Sure thing!  And it's a match made in heaven...

Today, both teams come together to bring you a fabulously inspiring BLOG HOP that will run through Sunday, November 17th.  There are 15 stops along the way including the main blogs, and PLENTY of inspiration for you to enjoy, so we hope you have as much fun as we've all had in this little partnership!

If you're not already familiar with Some Odd Girl, you are in for a TREAT!  They offer clear and digital stamps, cut files and new accessories, and they are cute and quirky to boot!  Once you see their unique style, you’ll always …

TGF's Alter-Ego Contest

Hi!  The Greeting Farm (TGF) had an Alter-Ego contest a little while ago and I never got to post what I made for it.  It seems like forever since I used my TGF stamps.  Truthfully, I had to dig my containers out of the cabinet to find the stamps I wanted to use.  I don't seem to have as much time to "just craft" anymore.  Lots of my crafting is dedicated to DT requirements which I love to do but sometimes you just want to do whatevers, you know?

Anyway, I wanted to use the Trinket Box kit I bought from La-La Land Crafts.  They have such fun looking kits and since it looks like a book, I thought it would go nicely with the TGF stamps I chose.

I chose to use Gracie's head with Annika's body.  These two stamps (one old and one newer) are probably my favorites from TGF.  I gave Gracie's head a little tilt.  I added gesso and then painted the box in pink, and then glued the pieces all together.  Once in a while I'll look through my stash and wonder geez, why …

CC Designs November Preview -- Day 3

Hello!  So we lost our internet connection last night and I didn't get to post this.  Instead I went to bed early.  Yup, with no internet, might as well go to sleep!  Anyway, it is Day 3 of CC Designs November Previews and all the new releases will be available Thursday at 9 AM EST.

I made another perpetual calendar using these adorable Sweet Penguins!  (Tutorial HERE).  I actually made this for my daughter for her birthday since she wanted a calendar like this and she loves penguins.  The sentiment is something I printed out.

Here is a close up.  The girl penguin is more purple than the other two who are boys.  I thought these were perfect representations of my own kids.  But the boys were fighting over who got to be the penguin with the lollipop.  Kids are so silly sometimes.

Thanks for reading!

Shakey A and CC Designs Blog Hop!!

Hello!  In celebration of Alberto joining CC Design's family of illustrators, we are having a combined blog hop.  We are super excited to have the Shakey A and CC Design Team join in a blog hop.

Alberto has illustrated 3 new images which will be available in both digi and rubber formats.  Follow the hop and leave a comment on each blog.  One lucky commenter will win all 3 images in digi format.  We aren't telling where the prize is located.  You have until Thursday, November 7th at 9:00 AM EST to leave your comments.  Have fun hopping away through the hop.  Good luck!

Here is my card featuring the fun and sweet Reindeer Lala.  I kept my card pretty simple with some thin layers.  The sentiment is from CC Design's Christmas Card Verses II.  I am loving this Embossalicious snowflake embossing folder I recently got too.  So pretty!

Here is a close up of Reindeer Lala.  I added some stickles to her string of lights, headband and around her too.

Next on the hop is Nancy!

Here is…

Happy Halloween!

Hello!  Okay, I'm a little late wishing you all a Happy Halloween.  But this past week was kind of busy with posting and then Halloween is busy with trick or treating.  Our kids had fun though they also got soda this year which I thought was interesting and definitely a first.  I ended up carrying 3 cans of soda trying not to shake them too much!

Anyway, I had a Make It Monday post over at the CC Designs blog that I didn't get to mention on here.

I made these fun little Halloween characters.  If you're interested, you can check out the short how to from the link above.

Here are a couple Christmas ones.  My youngest asked me to make a turkey for Thanksgiving using these little boxes.  I'm gonna have to to give that some thought.

I made a few for my kids' teachers too.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
